Ty Chandler
Ty Chandler Questionable for Sunday
Fri, Dec 12, 2025, 2:30 PM
Chandler (knee) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Cowboys.
Analysis: The 27-year-old practiced in full both Wednesday and Thursday but remains on the injured reserve list, leaving his status for Sunday's matchup in question. The Vikings must activate Chandler to their active roster in order for him to suit up in Week 15. If activated in time, the North Carolina product will likely serve as one of Minnesota's top kick returners.
T.J. Hockenson
T.J. Hockenson Fine for Week 15
Fri, Dec 12, 2025, 1:35 PM
Hockenson (shin) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.
Analysis: Hockenson missed Wednesday's practice but returned to limited participation Thursday. He's apparently fine to play this week, after catching two of three targets for 12 yards and a TD in the 31-0 blowout of Washington last Sunday.
Jordan Addison
Jordan Addison Cleared to play
Fri, Dec 12, 2025, 1:34 PM
Addison (Achilles) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.
Analysis: Addison was a limited practice participant Wednesday and Thursday, with no indication of doubt about his availability for the upcoming game. He hasn't done much with J.J. McCarthy at the helm this season, but McCarthy is coming off his best performance of the season and facing a vulnerable Cowboys defense.
Aaron Jones
Aaron Jones Good to go
Fri, Dec 12, 2025, 1:32 PM
Jones (shoulder) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.
Analysis: Jones has been playing through the same shoulder injury since Week 9 while picking up a couple of other minor injuries along the way. It's only the shoulder impacting him at this point, and it's not enough to threaten his status for Week 15. Jones has 67 touches over the past five games, compared to 37 touches for No. 2 RB Jordan Mason.
Ty Chandler
Ty Chandler Continues to practice
Thu, Dec 11, 2025, 4:21 PM
Chandler (knee) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.
Analysis: Chandler continues to string full practice sessions together as he works his way back from a knee injury he sustained in Week 1 against the Bears. If the running back was activated from injured reserve for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, he would join Jordan Mason in backing up Aaron Jones (shoulder).
T.J. Hockenson
T.J. Hockenson Limited Thursday
Thu, Dec 11, 2025, 3:10 PM
Hockenson (shin) was a limited practice participant Thursday.
Analysis: One day removed from not mixing into any drills due to a shin injury Wednesday, Hockenson was back on the field, signaling that he's trending in the right direction ahead of Sunday's contest at Dallas. Friday's practice report will unveil whether or not he enters the weekend with a designation for Week 15 action, but fellow TE Josh Oliver is on hand if Hockenson is inhibited or sidelined.
Jordan Addison
Jordan Addison Remains limited Thursday
Thu, Dec 11, 2025, 3:06 PM
Addison (Achilles) practiced on a limited basis Thursday.
Analysis: Addison now has put together back-to-back capped sessions to kick off Week 15 prep as he tends to an Achilles injury. He may need to practice fully Friday in order to head into the weekend without a designation for Sunday's game at Dallas. Having said that, Addison hasn't exceeded 62 receiving yards in any contest since Week 7, leaving him with only modest viability in terms of fantasy.
Aaron Jones
Aaron Jones Limited again Thursday
Thu, Dec 11, 2025, 3:01 PM
Jones (shoulder) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday.
Analysis: Jones has operated with practice restrictions more often than not since he suffered a shoulder injury Week 9 in Detroit. He's still led the Vikings backfield most weeks in the meantime, earning 67 touches to Jordan Mason's 37 over the last five games. Friday's practice report will reveal whether or not Jones enters the weekend with a designation for Sunday's contest at Dallas.
Ty Chandler
Ty Chandler Logs full practice Wednesday
Wed, Dec 10, 2025, 9:05 PM
Chandler (knee) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.
Analysis: Chandler continues to progress in his recovery from a knee injury that he sustained in the Vikings' regular-season opener against the Bears. He would have to be activated from injured reserve in order to play Sunday against the Cowboys, and if he is cleared to play, then he would serve as the Vikings' RB3 behind Aaron Jones (shoulder) and Jordan Mason.
T.J. Hockenson
T.J. Hockenson No practice due to shin injury
Wed, Dec 10, 2025, 5:49 PM
Hockenson was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice due to a shin injury.
Analysis: Hockenson logged his lowest snap share (56 percent) in a game this season this past Sunday against the Commanders, but he salvaged his two-catch, 12-yard day with a TD among his three targets. Perhaps the shin issue was to blame, but in any case, his status now will be monitored as the weekend approaches to get a sense of his odds to suit up Sunday in Dallas. Josh Oliver is the next TE up in Minnesota if Hockenson needs to miss any time.
Jordan Addison
Jordan Addison Tending to Achilles injury
Wed, Dec 10, 2025, 5:14 PM
Addison was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to an Achilles injury, Emily Leiker of The Minnesota Star Tribune reports.
Analysis: Since making his season debut Week 4 following a three-game suspension to begin the campaign, Addison was on point with an 18-283-1 line on 26 targets in his first three appearances. Since then uneven QB play for the Vikings has impacted all members of the offense, with Addison managing just a 19-227-2 line on 44 targets over the last 10 contests. Now with a health concern in tow, his status will be one to watch as the week goes on to see if he may be in danger of missing Sunday's road matchup with the Cowboys.
Aaron Jones
Aaron Jones Remains limited at practice
Wed, Dec 10, 2025, 5:09 PM
Jones (shoulder) was limited at practice Wednesday, Emily Leiker of The Minnesota Star Tribune reports.
Analysis: Jones has been bothered by a shoulder injury since getting hurt Week 9 at Detroit, but he's suited up for each of the Vikings' ensuing five contests, totaling 67 touches for 308 yards from scrimmage and one rushing TD. Meanwhile, No. 2 RB Jordan Mason has turned 37 touches into 218 total yards and two rushing TDs during that same span. Friday's practice report will reveal whether or not Jones enters the weekend with a designation for Sunday's game at Dallas.
Ben Sims
Ben Sims Gets first Vikings reception
Mon, Dec 8, 2025, 3:20 PM
Sims had one reception for nine yards on his only target in Sunday's win over Washington.
Analysis: It was surprising to see Sims get a target as he'd played just ten snaps on offense since joining the Vikings in October. However, the Vikings used plenty of three-tight-end sets in the win. Sims isn't likely to get more than a few targets the rest of the season unless injuries strike T.J. Hockenson and Josh Oliver, however.
Tai Felton
Tai Felton Gets second NFL reception
Mon, Dec 8, 2025, 3:15 PM
Felton had one reception for 10 yards on his only target in Sunday's win over Washington.
Analysis: Felton got playing time (11 snaps) late in a blowout win. He has just two receptions and two targets this season, as he's played almost al his snaps on special teams.
Jalen Nailor
Jalen Nailor Three receptions in win
Mon, Dec 8, 2025, 3:03 PM
Nailor had three receptions for 30 yards on three targets in Sunday's win over Washington.
Analysis: Nailor didn't have a reception and just one target each game the prior two weeks amid Minnesota's struggles through the air. With J.J. McCarthy showing signs of being a credible passer in the win, Nailor could get back to seeing 3-5 targets a game like earlier in the season. However, he's prone to low-output games when the offense struggles, considering Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison and tight end T.J. Hockenson draw the bulk of the targets.
Zavier Scott
Zavier Scott Gets three carries in blowout win
Mon, Dec 8, 2025, 2:59 PM
Scott had three carries for 15 yards and one reception for five yards on his lone target in Sunday's 31-0 win over Washington.
Analysis: Scott had three carries in a second consecutive game, but only because both were blowouts (in opposite directions). He had no carries or targets the four games before, as he's unlikely to see any action on offense if both Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason are healthy.
Josh Oliver
Josh Oliver Makes most of looks with two TDs
Sun, Dec 7, 2025, 8:54 PM
Oliver caught both of his targets for 24 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 31-0 victory over Washington.
Analysis: Oliver came into Sunday with one or zero targets in nine of his 10 games this season, so the fact that he got two balls thrown his way was out of the ordinary in itself. Not only did Oliver catch both of those targets, he scored on each one, reeling in an 18-yard TD in the first quarter and a six-yard score in the third. On the season, four of Oliver's nine catches have gone for a TD, making him about as extreme of a TD-dependent fantasy option as it gets.
T.J. Hockenson
T.J. Hockenson Gets into end zone Sunday
Sun, Dec 7, 2025, 3:49 PM
Hockenson caught two of three targets for 13 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-0 win over the Commanders.
Analysis: While the veteran tight end didn't see much volume, Hockenson did haul in his first TD since Week 9 and third of the season on a two-yard toss from J.J. McCarthy in the fourth quarter. All three of McCarthy's career-high three touchdowns went to TEs, an encouraging sign for Hockenson in what has been a tough season overall. He'll look to reach 60 receiving yards for the first time in 2025 in a Week 15 clash with the Cowboys.
Jordan Addison
Jordan Addison Leading receiver in Week 14 win
Sun, Dec 7, 2025, 3:45 PM
Addison caught four of seven targets for 62 yards in Sunday's 31-0 win over the Commanders.
Analysis: With J.J. McCarthy back under center for the Vikings, Addison led the team in catches, targets and receiving yards, although all three of the QB's passing touchdowns went to tight ends instead of wideouts. Addison's yardage total was his highest since Week 7, and if McCarthy can stay healthy and gain confidence down the stretch, it would be good news for the team's entire passing attack. Addison could be positioned for a ceiling game in Week 15 against a vulnerable Cowboys defense.
Justin Jefferson
Justin Jefferson Struggles continue in Week 14
Sun, Dec 7, 2025, 3:41 PM
Jefferson caught two of four targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 31-0 win over the Commanders.
Analysis: For the second straight game, Jefferson failed to reach 20 receiving yards, but this time he didn't have an undrafted rookie under center as an excuse. J.J. McCarthy returned from a concussion in Week 14 and threw a career-high three TDs, but all three went to tight ends, while Jordan Addison was his top option with a 4-62-0 line on seven targets. Jefferson hasn't scored a touchdown himself since Week 9 and hasn't had a 100-yard performance since Week 5, but he gets another golden opportunity to break out in Week 15 against the Cowboys.
